About Me

Zareen Tedx Clapperboard - smaller_edited_edited.jpg

Hello, I’m Zareen. Thank you for being here.

When people ask me what I do, I usually smile and say, “It depends which doorway you’ve met me through.”
There isn’t one path. There are many.
My work sits at the intersection of social impact, spirituality and creativity.

For over a decade, I founded and led Gift Wellness, a social enterprise rooted in dignity, sustainability and compassion.
Alongside this, I chair the Gift Wellness Foundation and lead The Halimah Trust, established in memory of my daughter, Halimah.
Through these, countless women and girls around the world have been supported, and communities strengthened through collective care.

Alongside this work, I am a passionate environmentalist and the creator of the Recycling Together programme — a community-led initiative designed to engage inner-city communities in environmental awareness and behaviour change. My focus is on making sustainability accessible, culturally relevant and rooted in real lives, so that collective action becomes both possible and meaningful.

Today, my work has evolved.I now focus on speaking, mentoring and guiding individuals and organisations who are ready to turn intention into meaningful impact. Whether through my circles, mastermind spaces or one-to-one work, I support those standing between chapters, ready to step into something deeper, braver and more aligned. My work is not about quick fixes. It is about clarity, courage and creation.

Creativity has always been a constant thread in my life. I am a mixed media artist, working across form, texture and symbolism to explore meaning, identity and the unseen. My work has been exhibited in the past, and I am now returning to my practice with greater depth and maturity, currently developing a new body of work for an upcoming exhibition. For me, art is not separate from my work — it is another language through which truth can be expressed. Academically, my PhD in Multiculturalism brought together theology, sociology and policy, exploring the role of Muslim women in Britain. That foundation continues to shape my perspective on equity, justice and human dignity.

Personally, I am deeply spiritual. My faith is not separate from my work, it is the thread that runs through it. I believe there are no coincidences, only invitations. And I trust that when something is placed on your heart, it is there for a reason.

Outside of work, I find joy in simple, creative things. Sewing, cooking, making. Creating spaces where family and friends feel at home.

Above all, I am drawn to people. To those moments of connection where something unspoken is understood, and a new possibility quietly begins.

If you’re here, perhaps you’re standing at one of those thresholds too. You’re very welcome.
